Abstract

|
|
Pituitary abscess and apoplexy is rare but potentially life-threatening condition. Differential diagnosis between them can be challenging, because this disorder shares many similarities in terms of signs and symptoms and radiologic findings. Here, we reported two patients who presented with severe acute headache, fever and meningeal irritation sign finally diagnosed with pituitary abscess or apoplexy. Also, we tried to focus on the differential diagnoses in perspectives of magnetic resonance imaging between these patients.
